Okay so getting alot of crap about not having posted anything in awhile. I will post my pictures from australia and some new ones of baby Presley soon, I promise Darla.
Life is good. Patrick Passed all his state exams and actually may have a job already with a friend, which he is way excited about. Presley is now 9 months old and teething (not fun), but such a joy to our lives. She is such a crack up, We could sit and laugh at her all day. Patrick is still completely wrapped around her little finger, and she is such a Daddy's girl, I love it. Im wondering when to get preggo again, I don't know if I should do 2 years apart or 3, any suggestions?

It's about time. ;)
I had someone tell me that it's hard at any time to have another baby. When the older one is two it's hard because they're still a baby in ways. But when they're three it's hard because they're not a baby and they fight for the attention more. We just went for it when it felt right, which they'll be less than two years apart. I rather get all the baby years behind us faster than dragging it out. I know that might sound bad.

I liked waiting until Emma was two because she was potty trained right after Jaycie was born, which meant only having to buy one box of diapers a month instead of two. Just my 2¢, but I agree with Mercedi, you will know when it is right.
A wise mother once told me that the happiest parents are the ones who space their kids far apart...like ten feet or so!!! (If you don't get it now, you will after #2!!)
In all seriousness, though, we have enjoyed a little space between ours because it lets us give them each a little more individual attention and the older ones can be more helpful, but we also got an earlier start, so it hasn't been a big deal. I also agree with the "one box of diapers" thing, as well as the "get it all over with while you're young" thing! Unfortunately for you and me, the young part ends this year, I'm afraid!

you'll know when you're ready. everyone is different. that's what i think anyway. personally i am with mercedi and just wanted to get the whole pregnancy, child bearing thing done with asap. ha ha ha.
you better get on it cause i dont think in the last 20 years there has been a year without a downey pregnant...keep the streak alive
Hey Jodi, I just found your blog, and thought I'd say hi. Presley is so adorable. You have the cutest little clothes and accessories for her. It makes me want another girl, (uh, but not a for a little while.)
I really wanted my kids 2 years apart, but they ended up being 3 and that has been really great for us. There's advantages and disadvantages to either one. You just have to go with what feel good for you and your family.
